THAT OLD BLACK MAGIC is a spellbinding pre-Halloween celebration featuring the amazingly talented rising vocalists Dina Miller and Valerie Dickenson. Together, they'll explore a hauntingly beautiful collection of mystical, dreamlike, mysterious, nocturnal, and magical songs drawn from across the generations—from classic jazz standards to later favorites with just the right touch of moonlight and mystery.

Fresh off a tour through Europe, musician Evan Wright returns to Sacramento to bring an unforgettable evening of live music
Currently completing his Masters in Composition from UC Davis, Wright weaves deep emotional narratives into his music, creating a signature sound honed on stages across California and the historic venues of Vienna. Performing a mix of original compositions and inventive arrangements, his quintet offers a rare glimpse into the exciting future of West Coast jazz.
